It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means!

Excalibur, “The Human Suplex Machine” Taz and Tony Schiavone greets the audiences at home as we head to the ring for the FTW Championship match.

MATCH #1: FTW Championship Match:
HOOK © vs. Jack Perry
Jack Perry’s Jungle Boy music hits and plays for a bit, before the lights go out. A video is shown on the big screens with Jack out in the desert digging a hole a to “bury” the Jungle Boy character. A limo pulls up and he opens the door and gets in as the limo drives away. New music now hits for Jack as he walks out to boos from the crowd. He introduced as just Jack Perry without the “Jungle” moniker.

Jack walks at ringside and is jawing at a young fan as HOOK’s music hits. HOOK makes his way down to the ring to a fairly good ovation from the sold-out crowd. HOOK walks around the ring before getting into the ring. Jack attempts to go after HOOK as his back is turned, but the referee stops him.

Your announcers for tonight’s show are Ian Riccoboni and Caprice Coleman.

We start with a video package hyping the Pure Championship match between Daniel Garcia and Katsuyori Shibata at Death Before Dishonor. Since last week, we’ve had five championship matches set for the PPV, including an ROH World Championship match against Claudio Castagnoli and PAC.

MATCH #1: Pure Rules Match:
Daniel Garcia vs. Jason Gieger
The judges for this match were Matt Taven, Christopher Daniels and Jerry Lynn.

The announcers hyped Geiger’s jiu jitsu prowess, noting his high ranks in both Canada and the US. Garcia knocked down Geiger with a shoulder block but waved off his dance to boos. He changed his mind after escaping a headscissors, dancing in Geiger’s face. Geiger got some shots in on Garcia and mocked his dance before catching Garcia in an armbar. That forced Garcia to use his first rope break.

Garcia dropped Geiger over the ropes with a hotshot to regain control. Garcia locked on a front facelock, spun Geiger around, then dropped into a guillotine submission. Geiger got back to his feet and pulled Garcia over into a suplex.

WWE NXT results from 07-18-2023

Tonight’s WWE NXT episode opens up on the USA Network with a look back at last week’s show when Ilja Dragunov defeated Bron Breakker to earn the NXT Championship shot at The Great American Bash. We also see highlights from The Judgment Day vs. Trick Williams and NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes. We’re now LIVE from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida as Vic Joseph welcomes us. He’s joined at ringside by WWE Hall of Famer Booker T.

We go right to the ring and out comes Trick Williams and NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes. Alicia Taylor does the introductions.

Trick calls for the music to be cut. He says we’re close to The Great American Bash so let’s get to business. Trick goes on hyping Hayes up but Hayes wants to talk about what happened with Ilja Dragunov wanting to help him against The Judgment Day. The music hits and out comes Dragunov.

Tonight’s WWE RAW opens up on the USA Network, LIVE from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Kevin Patrick welcomes us, and says the arena is sold out tonight. He’s joined at ringside by Corey Graves. They hype tonight’s show.

We go right to the ring and out comes Cody Rhodes to pyro and a hometown pop. Rhodes plays to the crowd as more pyro explodes on the stage. Rhodes now greets fans on his way to the ring as Samantha Irvin does the introduction.

Patrick says Rhodes has friends and family in the crowd tonight. He hits the ring to pose as more pyro goes off. The music stops and fans chant “Cody!” now. A “Welcome home!” chant also starts up before Rhodes asks his hometown what they want to talk about. He says we don’t have to talk because there’s this large shadow looming over this sold out arena. We’re talking about Brock Lesnar. Fans boo. Rhodes says Lesnar does bring it when he shows up, so Lesnar should come out right now and accept the SummerSlam challenge. AEW Collision results from 07-15-2023

Ian Riccaboni and Nigel McGuinness welcome us to the show. Kevin Kelly is not here tonight because he is in Japan. We head to the ring for our first match of the evening, which features the AEW World Tag Team Championships on-the-line.

MATCH #1: Two-Out-Of-Three Falls Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships:
Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood © vs. Jay White & Juice Robinson
With that said, Dasha Gonzalez introduces the challenges, the Bullet Club Gold duo of “Rock Hard” Juice Robinson and “Switchblade” Jay White. As they head to the ring, we see McGuinness and Ricabonni at ringside, the latter of which is wearing a cowboy hat.

The challengers are settled in the ring, and we see their victory over FTR last week to earn their shot at the titles tonight. The Bullet Club Gold theme dies down and the familiar sounds of FTR’s theme plays.

As the Midnight Express-souding tune plays, out comes Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler. The reigning and defending AEW World Tag-Team Champions head to the ring for our first match of the evening, which is a two out of three falls match with the gold up for grabs.

It’s Saturday night and you know what that means!

The AEW Battle of the Belts VII show kicks off in progress with the closing post-match moments from the 2023 Men’s Owen Hart Cup Finals between Ricky Starks and CM Punk from AEW Collision.

We see Punk in shock as Starks celebrates after holding onto the ropes to steal the win. He heads up the ramp for the Owen Hart Cup presentation by Jushin Thunder Liger. He simply snatches the trophy from him and heads to the back.

MATCH #1: AEW International Championship Match: 
“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy © vs. “The Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer
Now Dasha begins the ring introductions for our opening contest, our first of three Championship matches here on the seventh Battle of the Belts special event series from All Elite Wrestling.

Countdown Match #1: Six-Person Tag Team Match:
Courtney Rush, Jessicka and Jody Threat vs. Gisele Shaw, Savannah Evans and Jai Vidal
Jessicka and Evans start with a lock-up. Jai comes in and slaps Jessicka, so she delivers a receipt with several jabs. Shaw comes in and kicks Jessicka in the midsection. Jessicka counters by smashing Shaw’s face into the turnbuckle. Courtney Rush gets the tag, but Shaw beats her down quickly. Jai tags in and keeps Rush grounded. Shaw hits a double knees in the corner and goes for a cover as the heels maintain control for awhile.

Jai and Threat get tags at the same time as Threat takes him down with clotheslines. Shaw runs in but eats a kick to the head. Threat runs her down with double knees before Evans gets clobbered by Jessicka. Threat hits an exploder on Shaw and tags Rush. Threat hits a German and Rush hits him with a spear for the win.

Tonight’s WWE SmackDown on FOX opens up with a look at Jey Uso walking backstage at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina. We see what happened in Tribal Court last week as Michael Cole welcomes us. He’s joined at ringside by Wade Barrett.

We go right to the ring and Mike Rome introduces Bianca Belair. Fans chant “EST!” as she comes to the ring.

MATCH #1: One-On-One Match: 
Serpentico vs. Big Bill
Bill used his size and strength advantage to shoot Serpentico to the floor. Serpentico came back into the ring and threw several strikes before baiting Bill to chase him. Serpentico knocked Bill off the apron and hit a dive to the floor. Serpentico went to the top rope, but Bill avoided the dive before tossing Serpentico with ease.

Serpentico sent Bill into the corner with a dropkick, but Bill flung him away. Bill hung Serpentico on the ropes before booting him to the floor. Bill brought Serpentico back into the ring and put Serpentico away with a massive chokeslam.
