MATCH #1: Ladder Match for Andrade’s Mask
Andrade El Idolo vs. Buddy Matthews
As the pyro goes off, Ian and Nigel welcome us to the show as we go LIVE inside the XL Center. The fans begin to chant AEW as the crowd is hot in Hartford tonight!

Buddy Matthews comes out first with Julia Hart to a fairly good ovation. Andrade’s music hits to an immediate pop as he comes out next.

The bell rings and here we go! Julia is up on the apron trying to distract Andrade. Both men duke it out. Buddy smacks Andrade across the chest with several big chops. Andrade comes back and sends Buddy to the outside. Andrade’s ankle is grabbed by Buddy. Andrade climbs the ladder and delivers a huge moonsault to Buddy on the outside as the fans chant “Holy shit”…. Ian Riccaboni and Nigel McGuinness welcome us to the Prudential Center! The fans sound lively tonight as Saturday night is alright for a fight!

Tony Schiavone is in the ring as he introduces Ricky Starks, who comes out with the Owen Hart Tournament Title Belt. He comes out to a mixed reaction as a huge pyro goes off with Ricky standing on the second rope in the ring…as the pyro keeps going off. The fans are now cheering him more than they did when he first came out!

The fans begin to chant his name. Tony says that Ricky didn’t win without controversy as the fans begin to chant you deserve it! Ricky says that he has never agreed more with a city than tonight. Ricky has a bag with him and he says nothing is in the bag, he just wanted to show it off after he won the tournament. He says the controversy doesn’t matter. He says if anyone was in his shoes they would the exact same thing. He says that he did it by any means necessary. He says don’t talk to him about how sexy he is – that he is the man. Ian Riccaboni and Nigel McGuinness welcome us to the show. Kevin Kelly is not here tonight because he is in Japan. We head to the ring for our first match of the evening, which features the AEW World Tag Team Championships on-the-line.

MATCH #1: Two-Out-Of-Three Falls Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships:

With that said, Dasha Gonzalez introduces the challenges, the Bullet Club Gold duo of “Rock Hard” Juice Robinson and “Switchblade” Jay White. As they head to the ring, we see McGuinness and Ricabonni at ringside, the latter of which is wearing a cowboy hat.

The challengers are settled in the ring, and we see their victory over FTR last week to earn their shot at the titles tonight. The Bullet Club Gold theme dies down and the familiar sounds of FTR’s theme plays.

As the Midnight Express-souding tune plays, out comes Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler. The reigning and defending AEW World Tag-Team Champions head to the ring for our first match of the evening, which is a two out of three falls match with the gold up for grabs.

It’s Saturday night and you know what that means! 

We go to a video package hyping up the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament with promos from tonight’s competitors. The intro now begins and Kevin Kelly and Nigel McGuinness welcome us to the show.

MATCH #1: One-On-One Match: 
MJF vs. Kip Morst
MJF music hits and the crowd boos. MJF has red, white and blue trunks and knee pads.

MJF goes right after Morst who is a local guy. MJF drops Morst on his head as the referee counts, but MJF gets up to boos. MJF then puts Morst in a Crossface and makes him submit, making quick work of Morst.

Winner: MJF

After the match: MJF calls for his music to stop and calls the Canadians stupid and tells them to keep their hillbilly mouths shut. He said he says he was supposed to have a day off, but he had to come to dumpy Hamilton. He calls the fans stupid white trash. He says that he will challenge anyone from Hamilton and put his AEW World Championship on the line. Steve Brown walks out and MJF calls him fat goo.

It’s Saturday night and you know what that means!

We open up with CM Punk and FTR hyping up the main event. We then go to the Gunns with Jay White and Juice Robinson saying they are ready for a fight…intro begins.

We go LIVE to the Scotiabank Arena with pyro and Kevin Kelly and Nigel McGuinness greets the audiences at home.

In the ring is Tony Schiavone promoting Forbidden Door. Tony introduces Darby Allin and Sting, but Chris Jericho’s music hits instead. Out comes Jericho and Minoru Suzuki as the Toronto fans sing along to Jericho’s ring entrance music. Chris tells Tony to shut up as he started talking then tells the fans to shut up and that he is not from Toronto and says he is from Winnipeg and calls the fans idiots. Jericho said he and Suzuki are pissed off as they have been waiting for days on who Sting and Darby Allin’s partner is and they are sick of it. Jericho wants to know who they are going to get that is crazier and sexier than Chris Jericho. Suzuki and Jericho shake hands as he says they are good friends. Punk’s music hits to a huge ovation as the building looks packed! Out comes punk with a shaved head and shoes around his neck. Dasha announces Punk. He stops on the entrance area to absorb the fans chanting his name. He enters the ring as has a red bag in had and walks around the ring pointing to the fans. He is given a mic.

Punk chants continue as he has the mic in hand is trying to talk. He says I don’t know if you guys heard, but he is tired of being nice. Gone ten months with a torn triceps.
