The post-Draft and WWE Backlash go-home edition of SmackDown on FOX opens LIVE from the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Michael Cole welcomes us to a sold-out show with more than 16,000 in attendance. He’s joined at ringside by Wade Barrett, and they hype tonight’s show. Cole introduces the Spanish announce team at ringside – Jerry Soto and Marcelo Rodriguez.

We go right to the ring and out comes The LWO to a big pop – 2023 WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar, Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde and Zelina Vega. We see what happened at today’s Backlash press conference with Rey, Vega, Dominik Mysterio and SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley.

Rey asks how everyone is doing tonight and says he’s proud The LWO can represent for all Hispanic people. Rey says Bad Bunny will defeat Damian Priest in the Street Fight at Backlash tomorrow. Rey says he then wants to introduce the next SmackDown Women’s Champion. Vega gets a bit emotional at the reaction. The WWE Draft Night 1 edition of SmackDown on FOX opens LIVE from the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas as Michael Cole welcomes us. He’s joined at ringside by Wade Barrett. They hype the show and Cole says the arena is sold out.

We go right to the stage and out comes WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H for Round One of the Draft. Samantha Irvin does the introduction. Triple H welcomes us to SmackDown and to the 2023 Draft.

Triple H goes over rules for tonight – every Superstar on RAW and SmackDown can be sent to another brand, 50% of the roster will be drafted tonight, and the rest on RAW. He did not mention the picks on The SmackDown LowDown tomorrow morning. We see the Draft pool for tonight. Triple H says select WWE NXT Superstars are also eligible, and he post-Draft rosters will go into affect on Monday, May 8, coming out of WWE Backlash. Tonight’s WWE SmackDown on FOX opens LIVE from the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio as the pyro goes off. Michael Cole welcomes us, and he’s joined at ringside by Wade Barrett. They go over tonight’s card.

MATCH #1: Tag Team Match:
Finn Balor and Damian Priest vs. Santos Escobar and Rey Mysterio
We go right to the ring and out first comes The Judgment Day – Finn Balor and Damian Priest. We see what recently happened with Bad Bunny, who will be on Monday’s RAW. The music hits and out next comes The LWO – Santos Escobar and 2023 WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.

Balor throws a kick to start as the bell hits, but Rey catches it and goes to work. Rey unloads and kicks Balor but Balor looks to put him down. Rey rolls through with a basement dropkick.

Rey with a second rope moonsault but Balor gets his knees up. Priest tags in and launches Rey down into the corner, then stomps away to boos. Tonight’s WWE SmackDown on FOX opens LIVE from the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska as the pyro goes off. Michael Cole welcomes us. He’s joined at ringside by Wade Barrett.

We go right to the ring and out comes Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. We see what happened last week with the champs, The Bloodline and Matt Riddle. Fans cheer and chant before Owens and Zayn can speak.

Fans chant for Sami now. He talks about how they closed WrestleMania 39 as champions but haven’t really had a chance to enjoy it because of the stuff with The Bloodline, and with the WWE Draft coming up. A lot is going on and it’s an exciting time, but there’s a lot of uncertainty. Owens says no matter what happens with the Draft, they are the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, and they will defend them on any show. The post-WrestleMania 39 edition of WWE SmackDown on FOX opens up with a graphic in memory of WWE Hall of Famer Bushwhacker Butch, who passed away on April 2 at the age of 78. We now cut to a video package of highlights from WrestleMania 39.

We’re now LIVE from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon as Michael Cole welcomes us to SmackDown. He’s joined at ringside by Wade Barrett. Cole hypes tonight’s show and we go right to the ring.

MATCH #1: Six-Man Tag Team Match:
Sheamus, Ridge Holland and Butch vs. GUNTHER, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci
We go right to the ring and out first comes The Brawling Brutes – Sheamus, Ridge Holland and Butch. Samantha Irvin does the ring introductions as out next comes Imperium – WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.

We go right to the ring and Samantha Irvin does the introductions as Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos hit the ring – Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso. Cole hypes tomorrow’s match against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

The Usos take the mics to mostly boos, announcing that they are in your city. They hype tonight’s show and the biggest tag team match of all-time on The Grandest Stage of Them All. The music quickly interrupts and out comes Zayn and Owens. They play to the crowd from the stage for big cheers. Sami says The Usos are right about being one night away from the biggest tag team match in history, tomorrow night they will put an end to this once and for all.

We’re now LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, Nevada as Michael Cole welcomes us. We see the packed crowd cheering and they are riled up for the show. Cole is joined at ringside by Wade Barrett. He hypes WrestleMania 39 and tonight’s penultimate episode.

MATCH #1: One-On-One Match:
Cody Rhodes vs. Ludwig Kaiser
We go right to the ring and out comes Cody Rhodes to a big pop and pyro. Samantha Irvin does the introductions as Rhodes marches to the ring, stopping to sign for a few fans. Rhodes hits the ring and poses to more pyro. We see Ludwig Kaiser already waiting in the ring with Giovanni Vinci, but no sign of WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER.

Tonight’s WWE Smack SmackDown on FOX opens LIVE from the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri as Michael Cole welcomes us. He’s joined at ringside by Wade Barrett. They hype tonight’s show.

We go right to the ring and out comes Cody Rhodes to a big pop as Samantha Irvin does the introductions.

Cody takes the mic and asks the crowd what they want to talk about –  WrestleMania? Cody talks about tempers and mistakes on The Road to WrestleMania 39. He says he has the utmost respect for our champion, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Fans boo. Cody says Reigns is the greatest champion in sports, he looks forward to seeing Reigns in the ring on RAW, and then beating Reigns at WrestleMania. Fans pop and chant “Cody!” now.

Tonight’s WWE SmackDown on FOX opens up with a look back at what happened with Sami Zayn and Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos on Monday’s RAW, where Jey Uso turned on Zayn.

We’re now LIVE from the back parking lot of the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Paul Heyman waits as a black SUV pulls up. Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos hop out. Jey Uso asks where The Tribal Chief is. Heyman just looks at Jey, then hugs him. Heyman says The Tribal Chief is really proud of Jey, and so is Heyman. Jey tells Heyman to let The Tribal Chief know he’s here, whenever he finds out where he is. Heyman walks off. Kayla Braxton walks up and asks Jey why he turned on Sami Zayn. Jey says everything he needs to say will be said in the middle of the ring tonight. Jimmy Uso says Kayla needs to be asking Cody Rhodes why he put his nose in Bloodline business. The Usos walk off and we go to the standard SmackDown intro video.

Tonight’s WWE SmackDown on FOX opens LIVE from the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. Michael Cole welcomes us to a sold out arena. He’s joined at ringside by Wade Barrett.

We go right to the ring and out first comes The Bloodline – Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman. There is no sign of Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Jey Uso. The Bloodline stops on the entranceway and raises their gold as the pyro hits. They then march to the ring as Samantha Irvin does the introductions.

The Bloodline hits the ring and poses to more pyro and loud chants as Cole hypes Reigns’ WrestleMania 39 Championship defense against Cody Rhodes. Reigns grabs the mic, but the crowd is on fire. Reigns finally calls on Washington, DC to acknowledge him. Before Reigns can say anything else, the music interrupts and out comes Rhodes to a major pop.

Rhodes heads to the ring after the pyro explodes. Fans sing his theme along as The Bloodline watches. Rhodes briefly hesitates but then enters the ring, staring down Reigns and his crew. The music stops and a “Cody!” chant starts … Read More
