The post-Clash at The Castle edition of WWE SmackDown on FOX opens up with a video showing how Solo Sikoa helped Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns retain over Drew McIntyre at Clash at The Castle last Saturday. We’re now LIVE from the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington as Michael Cole welcomes us. He’s joined at ringside by Corey Graves. Cole mentions how Pat McAfee is taking some time off to work ESPN’s College GameDay on Saturday mornings, so Graves will be filling in.

MATCH #1: Six-Man Tag Team Match:
Sheamus, Ridge Holland and Butch vs.
 Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci
We go right to the ring for tonight’s big six-man opener as The Brawling Brutes come out – Sheamus, Ridge Holland and Butch. Samantha Irvin does the introductions as Imperium comes out next – WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci. Tonight’s WWE SmackDown on FOX opens LIVE from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan as Michael Cole welcomes us. He’s joined at ringside by Pat McAfee as fans cheer them on.

MATCH #1: One-On-One Match:
Ricochet vs. Happy Corbin
We go right to the ring and out comes Ricochet to a pop as Samantha Irvin does the introductions. Out next comes Happy Corbin as the pyro goes off. His elbow is braced up. Cole shows us a pre-recorded video from earlier today where Corbin takes shots at Ricochet and says there’s no way this little punk will beat him.

The bell rings and Corbin charges but misses. Ricochet comes back and sends Corbin flying to the floor after a hurricanrana. Ricochet shows off some in the middle of the ring as Corbin re-groups at ringside. They bring it back in and Ricochet dropkicks Corbin, then takes his knees out. Ricochet keeps control but gets sent to the apron as he charges in the corner.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown results from August 19th 2022

The 1200th episode of WWE SmackDown opens LIVE on FOX as Michael Cole welcomes us to the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The pyro goes off inside the arena. Cole recalls the first SmackDown episode on April 29, 1999, in New Haven, CT. Cole is joined at ringside by Pat McAfee, who talks about what an honor it is to be on the 1200th episode.

Ronda Rousey comes walking past the announcers and goes straight to the ring. They acknowledge her suspension and wonder why she’s here tonight. Rousey stands in the middle of the ring and takes the mic.

Rousey calls for the SmackDown theme music to be cut. She says she paid her fine last week, and then some, so she’s not leaving tonight until she is reinstated. It sounds like Rousey may have some mic troubles but her mic is still on as she calls for someone to come out and un-suspend her. Some fans chant for Rousey in French. Tonight’s WWE SmackDown on FOX opens LIVE from the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina as Michael Cole welcomes us. He’s joined at ringside by Pat McAfee.

MATCH #1: First Round Match in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament:
Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah vs. Xia Li and Shotzi
We go right to the ring for tonight’s first round match in the tournament for the vacant WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Out first comes Raquel Rodriguez as Samantha Irvin does the introductions. Her partner Aliyah is out next. We see the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on display at ringside. Out next comes Xia Li for her team, followed by Shotzi. The winners of this match will go on to face the winners of Natalya and Sonya Deville vs. Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark over the next few weeks. We see how IYO SKY and Dakota Kai defeated Tamina Snuka and WWE 24/7 Champion Dana Brooke on Monday’s RAW. The post-SummerSlam edition of WWE SmackDown on FOX opens up with a video package of highlights from last Saturday’s big Premium Live Event from Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. We’re now LIVE from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina as we see a black SUV arrive in the back parking lot. Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos hop out. They approach another black SUV and out comes Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. The Bloodline enters the building now. Michael Cole now welcomes us to SmackDown. He’s joined at ringside by Pat McAfee.

The announcers hype tonight’s show and talk about SummerSlam. McAfee says it was an absolute honor to be on the SummerSlam card, and he will remember the ball-kicking he gave to Happy Corbin for the rest of his life. McAfee shows us a replay from his big win over Corbin. We see Corbin backstage watching now. Several other Superstars are laughing at him, including Ricochet, who says karma is a beautiful thing. The SummerSlam go-home edition of WWE SmackDown on FOX opens up live from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia as Michael Cole welcomes us. He’s joined at ringside by Pat McAfee.

MATCH #1: Donnybrook Match:
Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus
We see several bar props, barrels and other weapons at ringside. The Irish and Scottish flags are also on display in several spots. The winner will challenge for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, against either current champion Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar, at WWE Clash at The Castle on September 3 in Cardiff, Wales. The music hits and out first comes Drew McIntyre, who is not carrying his sword Angela as it is banned from this match. Samantha Irvin does the introductions. Sheamus suddenly attacks out of nowhere as Drew is beginning his entrance.

Drew sends Sheamus into the barrier but Sheamus sends him into the ring post. Sheamus brings it into the ring and the bell rings. Tonight’s WWE SmackDown on FOX opens up LIVE from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. Michael Cole welcomes us to a historic night of SmackDown. He’s joined at ringside by Pat McAfee.

The NEW WWE Chairwoman & Co-CEO Stephanie McMahon is waiting in the ring with a mic. Samantha Irvin introduces her. Stephanie takes the mic and welcomes everyone. She says earlier tonight, her father Vince McMahon, retired from WWE.

Fans boo Vince leaving. She says this is the company Vince created and founded, and he wanted to make sure in his retirement that he thanked all of the fans, the WWE Universe. A “thank you Vince!” chant starts up and Stephanie says she’s trying to get there. She says this goes for all the fans, everyone in the back, the crew members, the graphics department, even Pat McAfee and Michael Cole. She says this is the WWE Universe and they are eternally grateful for all of the fans, and so Vince had the chance to thank all of us, this is the moment we can all thank him. WWE Friday Night SmackDown results from July 15th 2022

Tonight’s WWE SmackDown on FOX opens LIVE from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida as Michael Cole welcomes us. Fans cheer Cole on as he waits in the ring with a mic. Cole mentions how his broadcast partner recently signed a multi-year deal with WWE as fans start cheering again. Cole now introduces Pat McAfee to a big pop as the SmackDown theme starts back up.

McAfee takes the mic and says it’s great to be inside of Orlando. McAfee wants to apologize… fans chant “Pat!” and he runs to the corner to pose for them. McAfee apologizes to the entire WWE Universe because last week’s absence forced the WWE Universe to have to listen to Corey Graves for two hours, and that “bum ass Corbin!” for 17 minutes. The WWE Money in the Bank go-home edition of SmackDown on FOX opens up live from the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona as Michael Cole welcomes us. He’s joined at ringside with Pat McAfee. They hype tonight’s show as we see Men’s MITB Ladder Match participants in the background, and ladders all around the ringside area.The ring is full of ladders with five of the six confirmed Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match participants sitting up high – Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Riddle, Sami Zayn. Omos is standing near the turnbuckles, and not sitting up on a ladder.
