WWE NXT results from August 23rd 2022

Tonight’s post-Heatwave edition of WWE NXT 2.0 opens up on the USA Network with highlights from last Tuesday’s special event. We’re now LIVE from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida as Vic Joseph welcomes us. He’s joined at ringside by Wade Barrett.

We go right to the ring and out comes NXT Champion Bron Breakker as Alicia Taylor does the ring introductions. Fans bark and cheer as Breakker hits the ring with a mic.

Breakker gives a shout-out to Orlando and says he and JD McDonagh had a banger in the ring at Heatwave, and JD proved he is one of the very best in the world. Breakker says NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate made his presence known after the match. Breakker figures Bate didn’t fly across the world for the Sky Miles, so how about coming to the ring so we can talk. The music hits and out comes Bate to a pop.

Bate thanks Bron for the kind invitation and congratulates him on last week’s win. Bate has been in the ring with JD himself, and knows how good he is, so big respect to Bron. Bate says Bron is correct, he’s not here for air miles. … Read More

WWE RAW results from August 22nd 2022

Tonight’s WWE RAW opens up on the USA Network, LIVE from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Jimmy Smith welcomes us to a sold out RAW. He’s joined at ringside by Corey Graves and Byron Saxton.

The camera man runs to the Gorilla Position area backstage and we see Riddle and Seth Rollins brawling. The announcers go to move on but Rollins and Riddle are brawling out into the arena now. They fight down the steps, through the crowd and towards the ringside area.

Riddle flies over the barrier and takes down Rollins, along with several WWE Producers. The announcers hype the Rollins vs. Riddle match at WWE Clash at The Castle. The brawl continues up the ramp now as officials try to restore order.

The announcers hype tonight’s RAW as Smith welcomes us again. The pyro goes off inside the sold out Scotiabank Arena as fans cheer.

We go back to the ring and out comes WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus to a hometown pop. Mike Rome does the introduction for the hometown star as fans cheer her on. Stratus hits the ring and plays to the crowd as they cheer her on.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown results from August 19th 2022

The 1200th episode of WWE SmackDown opens LIVE on FOX as Michael Cole welcomes us to the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The pyro goes off inside the arena. Cole recalls the first SmackDown episode on April 29, 1999, in New Haven, CT. Cole is joined at ringside by Pat McAfee, who talks about what an honor it is to be on the 1200th episode.

Ronda Rousey comes walking past the announcers and goes straight to the ring. They acknowledge her suspension and wonder why she’s here tonight. Rousey stands in the middle of the ring and takes the mic.

Rousey calls for the SmackDown theme music to be cut. She says she paid her fine last week, and then some, so she’s not leaving tonight until she is reinstated. It sounds like Rousey may have some mic troubles but her mic is still on as she calls for someone to come out and un-suspend her. Some fans chant for Rousey in French. Rousey says she’s not leaving until she gets what she came for. Adam Pearce comes out with security and says he can’t just lift the suspension because Rousey wants him to. WWE NXT Heatwave results from 08-16-2022

The inaugural WWE NXT Heatwave episode opens up on the USA Network with a video package, narrated by Paul Heyman. We’re now LIVE from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida as Vic Joseph welcomes us. He’s joined at ringside by Wade Barrett.

MATCH #1: NXT North American Championship Match:
Carmelo Hayes © vs. Giovanni Vinci
We go right to the ring and out first comes Giovanni Vinci. NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes is out next with Trick Williams as Alicia Taylor does the introductions. Hayes stops on the entranceway and raises a t-shirt with Vinci’s face on it. He then drops that t-shirt in a barrel of fire, keeping his promise that Vinci’s face would be on a t-shirt.

The bell rings and they lock up. Vinci tosses Hayes across the ring and taunts him as fans do dueling chants. They run the ropes and Vinci gets knocked out of air, apparently on a slight botch. They run the ropes again and Vinci levels Hayes with a shoulder for a 2 count. Hayes works Vinci over in the corner. Vinci gets Hayes on his shoulder, but he slides off.

WWE RAW results from August 15th 2022

Tonight’s WWE RAW opens LIVE on the USA Network as the pyro goes off inside the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. Jimmy Smith welcomes us. He’s joined at ringside by Corey Graves and Byron Saxton.

We go right to the ring and out comes The Judgment Day – Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest. The pyro goes off as Mike Rome introduces The Judgment Day and they slowly march to the ring, wearing black suits. Some fans boo as we see video of last week’s Balor vs. Rey Mysterio match, and how Ripley came walking out with a lifeless Dominik Mysterio to distract.

The group poses on the apron and then stands tall in the middle of the ring as fans boo. Ripley says they run Monday Night RAW and that’s been the harsh reality to The Mysterios week in and week out, she even proved to Dominik that she really is his Papi, as she destroyed his soul. Tonight’s WWE SmackDown on FOX opens LIVE from the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina as Michael Cole welcomes us. He’s joined at ringside by Pat McAfee.

MATCH #1: First Round Match in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament:
Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah vs. Xia Li and Shotzi
We go right to the ring for tonight’s first round match in the tournament for the vacant WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Out first comes Raquel Rodriguez as Samantha Irvin does the introductions. Her partner Aliyah is out next. We see the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on display at ringside. Out next comes Xia Li for her team, followed by Shotzi. The winners of this match will go on to face the winners of Natalya and Sonya Deville vs. Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark over the next few weeks. Tonight’s WWE NXT 2.0 episode opens up on the USA Network with a look back at how Katana Chance and Kayden Carter captured the vacant NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles last week. Trick Williams and NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes are backstage now, hyping tonight’s show. Trick has some words for Wes Lee ahead of their Rounds Match. Lee also speaks from backstage. We also get comments from Nikkita Lyons, Zoey Stark and Tony D’Angelo on their matches and segments planned for tonight. WWE RAW results from August 8th 2022

A video kicks off the show that highlights Bayley, IYO SKY and Dakota Kai wreaking havoc on the show last week. RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair battled IYO SKY, but it ended in a No Contest when Kai and Bayley began brawling in the ring with Asuka and Alexa Bliss.

We go LIVE into the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. Tonight, Bobby Lashley will defend the United States Championship against Ciampa. Ciampa won a Triple Threat Match and defeated AJ Styles last week on RAW to earn the opportunity. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament will also begin. Tamina and Dana Brooke will battle Dakota Kai and IYO SKY in a tournament match.

Bayley makes her way to the ring alongside Dakota Kai and IYO SKY. The post-SummerSlam edition of WWE SmackDown on FOX opens up with a video package of highlights from last Saturday’s big Premium Live Event from Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. We’re now LIVE from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina as we see a black SUV arrive in the back parking lot. Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos hop out. They approach another black SUV and out comes Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. The Bloodline enters the building now. Michael Cole now welcomes us to SmackDown.
