It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means!
Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and “The Human Suplex Machine” Taz greets the audiences at home.
MATCH #1: Eight-Man Tag Team Match:
Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee vs. Cash Wheeler, Dax Harwood, Anthony Bowens and Max Caster
Billy Gunn rushes the ring and jumps Shane Strickland before the bell! BJ Whitmer has to come down to cool him down and talk him into going to the back!
The match begins, Austin working Dax over in the corner, trading punches, Harwood gets him into the corner and tags Wheeler in. Gunn tags out to Strickland, putting boots to Cash, he gets away, tag to Caster, Shane tags Lee in! Max throwing body blows, Keith swats him down and scoops him up but Caster slips out!
Kick combo, back elbows to the Gunn’s as they run in, Swerve joins the fray and all of Max’s teammates run in for quadraphonic mounted punches in the corner! Babyfaces hold a scissor party and we go to break!
Back from commercial, Harwood drops Austin with a back suplex, he tags Colten in, passing Dax to the corner, sidestep the corner avalanche, tag to Bowens! Lighting Strickland and Gunn up with chops, front kick into combo punches and elbows takes Swerve out! The match breaks down, Colten and Cash crash to the floor, the Acclaimed working Strickland over, Lee blocks a Frankensteiner and powerbombs Bowens into Caster!
Double-team high/low; assisted tornillo from Strickland takes everybody out! Dax pulls Keith down to the floor, up top with Austin Gunn… superplex off the top and to the floor! A pile of men on the floor, back inside and he’s got Austin in the Sharpshooter! Colten breaks it up with a stiff right hand!
Crotch chop, off the ropes, Bowens with the Arrival, Caster hits the Mic Drop, FTR are ready with the Big Rig…

We get an interview with MJF where he says he’s been advised by doctors to stay off the road until his match against Jon Moxley at Full Gear. And that match is important, because it might just crown him as the face of the next generation of pro wrestling, guys like Bruno Sammartino, Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, The Rock and John Cena.
Guys who are exactly what MJF is. So all he has to do to etch his name into history is to have a nice long Championship reign, and he’s not going to pretend that Jon Moxley is going to be easy to beat. Mox wasn’t born to be world champion, he doesn’t have an athletic bone in his body, but he worked his ass off to be the man he is today and he respects that.
But Max says he WAS born for this, and to wave the flag and do the interviews and make everyone talk about wrestling again. That throne is for the taking, and he is going to take it, and he’s sick of waiting his turn. He’s had his spotlight stolen from him again and again, by Cody’s neck tattoo, by Matt Hardy falling like Humpty Dumpty, by Chris Jericho for a full calendar year, and then on his big return his spotlight went to a press conference?
He’s not waiting for the spotlight anymore, he’s taking it, and William Regal bet on the wrong horse, because come Full Gear, the devil gets his due.

Back from commercial, we get a Stokely Hathaway vignette.
He talks about how he used to think that he and MJF had the same goals, money and cars and such, but instead he’s dickriding Jon Moxley, and the worst crime you can commit is dickriding without a license. So win lose or draw at Full Gear, he’ll see Max in hell.
MATCH #2: First Round Match in the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament:
Eddie Kingston vs. “All Ego” Ethan Page
The match begins with Collar and elbow tie-up, Kingston with a side headlock, Page takes him to the floor and lays him out! Stomping the shoulder, drawing Eddie up for elbows, back inside, King gets a butterfly suplex for two! Whip reversed, Eddie takes the turnbuckles hard, to the floor and All Ego lands a suplex on the floor!
Back from commercial, Kingston with a nearfall off a suplex! One their knees, trading punches, to their feet as they keep throwing forearms, Eddie laying chops in and he snaps a DDT off… nope! Exploder suplex, the Stretch Plum is on and Ethan is tapping but referee Paul Turner is distracted by Stokely Hathaway!
Ortiz takes Stoke to the back, Page ducks the Backfist to the Future, roundhouse kick from Page and he goes up top. Kingston right with him, biting his forehead but Ethan gets under him and crotches him! Setting up the Ego’s Edge… Avalanche Ego’s Edge does it!

BACKSTAGE: Rush is with the Dark Order and Jose is still trying to get 10 to defect, and he’s willing to offer him the first Championship match against Rush when he inevitably wins the tournament and the AEW World Championship. Rush tells him to think about it because he doesn’t give second chances, John Silver calls him a Rushbag, and he has to be held back.
Ari Daivari is in the ring offering to sell his butler to Wardlow for the TNT Championship and save them both the trouble of having a match.
MATCH #3: AEW TNT Championship Match:

Wardlow sends the butler flying, Daivari begs off, tries a kick and gets headbutted stone cold unconscious. Mr. Mayhem winds him up for a big lariat, and the orchestra gets to playing with multiple Powerbombs to win the match and retain the TNT Championship.
Winner: Wardlow
After the match: Wardlow calls “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs out!
Hobbs answers the call and says they’re doing this on his time, and Wardlow says the TNT Championship is his and will always be his, and for that matter he’s going to take every Championship in AEW. Samoa Joe doesn’t like the sound of that and cracks Wardlow over the head with the ROH World Television Championship!
He chokes Wardlow out with the Coquina Clutch! Powerhouse says he’ll see him too, and he’ll still kick his ass.

She’s sick of Nyla Rose parading around with her TBS Championship and she’s going to handle things this Friday in Boston.
Tony Schiavone introduces Dr. Britt Baker, DMD and Saraya for an in-ring interview.
Saraya wanted to speak to Britt face-to-face, and she knows everybody’s wondering if she’s cleared or not, and a couple weeks ago they took x-rays and CT scans and unfortunately… for Britt… she’s 100% cleared! AEW is HER House!
Baker asks if there’s anything more fickle than an AEW fan, and she asks if Saraya even still knows how to do this. She’s been coming after her since the day she got here, and why? She thinks she’s got it – Britt builds AEW from the ground up until it became a fortress that wrestlers, no superstars like Saraya wanted to move into.
She’s damn proud of that, but that pride turns into resentment very quickly when she has the audacity to skip in here and say this is her house, because she didn’t lay a single brick. But Britt gets it, Saraya’s obsessed with her because she’s everything she wishes she could have been, and if she thinks that’s not true, she left her house and walked into hers.
Baker says they don’t take walk-ins, so bitch make an appointment. Saraya says Britt’s only been in the business three years and she doesn’t know what it takes to be a superstar. She traveled up and down the UK and over Europe for free because she loves this business. She got hit by a car and wrestled the same day!
She handled resumes to promoters and got turned down for being a woman and Britt has no idea what it takes to make it, and she’s been making revolutions since before wrestling was even a twinkle in Baker’s eye. She’s done MSG, the O2, the Tokyo Dome and now she’s in front of an ungrateful bitch.
Britt doesn’t know what it takes, she’s been humiliated in front of millions of people and had her addictions exposed, she’s given her career and her neck for this business, and Baker doesn’t have a clue, but here’s another opportunity handed to her on a silver platter.
This is her comeback story and the biggest match of Britt’s career, at Full Gear. Britt goes to attack as Saraya leaves but she ducks and catches her with the capture DDT!
Earlier today, Sonjay Dutt is shown paying Cole Karter off for his help last week, QT Marshall takes his cut and offers them half off next time. Danhausen and Best Friends come up the steps to yell at Lee Johnson for ruining Danhausen’s Halloween and hanging out with these hat people.
QT tries to goad Orange Cassidy into giving Lee a title match and Orange just accepts without any fanfare. Best Friends square up and Trent Beretta wants to fight Jay Lethal, so that’s happening.
In the now times, Jay Lethal blindsides Trent with a chop block and starts tearing his knee apart!
MATCH #4: One-On-One Match:
Trent Beretta vs. Jay Lethal
In the ring, we get the bell and Jay keeps on the leg! Beretta powers up with some forearms, Lethal sends him to the floor, Chuck and Danhausen come to check, and we go to break.
Back from commercial, Beretta struggles to his feet and fires off a chop and a German suplex! Hanging onto the waistlock, shifting, half nelson suplex connects! Trent gets a solid two, Busaiku Knee sets up Strong Zero but Sonjay and Satnam are on the apron with Danhausen running interference!
Danhausen pokes Dutt in the gentleman’s area, Singh knocks him off the apron, Lethal takes advantage of the distraction and finishes off Beretta with Lethal Injection.
Winner: Jay Lethal
After the match: Tony Schiavone interviews Lethal and his crew but Sonjay takes the mic from him and tells him to shut up and sit down.
Dutt says he promised a huge surprise last week and he delivered with his good friend Jeff Jarrett!
Enter Jeff Jarrett.
He grabs the mic and says after over a million views of his debut; the question is why is he here in AEW? When a friend calls, a friend shows up, and that’s exactly what he did, and they put a plan together that they started last week.
He knows Lethal because he signed him to his very first contract, and he’s got wins over Ric Flair, Sting and a grand slam championship in ROH. Sonjay has a high IQ and they’ve taken promotions over all over the globe. And Satnam is a legit 7’5” giant; no make-believe monster in red skinny jeans in the banana nose circus, this guy is one in a billion!
He’s the only player in the history of the NBA to be born and bred in India! Jeff calls Darby Allin and Sting out, and a crew member interrupts and Jarrett berates him before continuing his challenge for Dynamite or Full Gear. The guy doesn’t leave, so Jeff chases him with the guitar.
“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry is interviewed by Renee Paquette.
He tells Christian Cage that he doesn’t get to say when this is over and he’s only getting started. He has a challenge for Cage and Luchasaurus, and he wants to make it to their face on Friday at Rampage.
Jon Moxley makes his entrance, flanked by William Regal.
Mox says he was 25, 26 when he first met Regal, full of piss and vinegar, no arthritis, and he thought he had it all figured out and kept running his mouth. He wanted to be just like William, feared and respected, a real top guy, so to prove himself he tried to pick a fight with the Villain.
That didn’t go well, Regal tortured him and brutalized him and it pissed Jon off, because it showed him where he is on the food chain and to grow and evolve and get his revenge, and when he got his rematch he showed it, knocked William out and tore his ear off with a knee.
Then Regal took him under his wing and told him that now the real work begins, and who does that young, impetuous kid remind him of? Young Maxwell Jacob Friedman, whom Moxley will face at Full Gear with the AEW World Championship on the line. He first wrestled MJF well over a year ago, and he thought he had it all figured out then, so he beat the hell out of him and sent him packing.
But now all these months later he’s come back around for another shot, so the question is, what’s going to be different this time? He seems to be having an existential identity crisis, so who is Maxwell Jacob Friedman? He dresses nice and puts on the air of somebody rich and successful.
He talks the talk of a big-time pro wrestling champion, but dude, Moxley is actually a multi-time millionaire world champion and he’s not fooling him. Friedman likes to call himself a pillar even though there’s no weight on him, but what’s even more amusing is that he likes to call himself the devil.
Well Jon has seen the devil, met him and looked into his eyes. He’s met some bad people in bad places and seen them do some bad things, and Max isn’t that at all. He wants Friedman to fulfill his destiny and put the company on his back, but he’s not worried about the walk and the talk, he wants to see what’s in MJF’s guts.
He wants him to remember one thing at Full Gear – everything he’s done to this point has been easy.
We get another video of the Elite being erased, juxtaposed with Full Gear’s usual industrial clockwork imagery, and we go to break.
Back from commercial we get a video package hyping up tonight’s main event.
MATCH #5: Women’s One-On-One Match:
Jamie Hayter vs. Skye Blue
Toni Storm is in Blue’s corner for this.
Skye taking it to her but Hayter bails to the floor! Following after her, Jamie whips her hard into the barricade and scoops her up but Blue slips out and puts Hayter into the post! Back inside, off the ropes, la casadora arm drag, rising knee, Britt Baker trips Skye up!
Jamie with a backbreaker and a back body drop driver and we go to break!
Back from commercial, Skye taking out Team DMD, diving crossbody for Hayter…nope! Grappling for position, enzuigiri staggers Jamie, Blue off the ropes, Yoshi Tonic…still no! Schoolboy for two, Hayter with forearms, Skye throws her own back, off the ropes right into a superkick!
Jamie blasts her with a boot, smashes her into the turnbuckles, grinding her forearm in her face and getting admonished by referee Rick Knox! Hammer whip, electric chair, la casadora, Hayter counters into the Ripcord Lariat for the win.
Winner: Jamie Hayter
After the match: Hayter puts boots to Blue briefly before Toni chases her out of the ring!
We get a hype reel for Brian Cage vs. Dante Martin on Rampage.
BACKSTAGE: We see Lance Archer beating down Ricky Starks in front of Alex Marvez.
MAIN EVENT: Two-Out-Of-Three Falls Match:
“American Dragon” Bryan Danielson vs. Sammy Guevara
Hard striking out the gates, Danielson with the edge, backing him into the corner with uppercuts and chops, smashing his face into the turnbuckles, chops and kicks, whip across, backflip up and over, off the ropes, leapfrogs, dropkick takes Bryan out of the ring!
Back inside, Tay Melo gets between Dragon and a suicide dive, so he goes to the floor and shoves her out of the way…Sammy swing a chair at Danielson’s face to get disqualified.
Winner of the 1st Fall: Bryan Danielson
He takes Dragon to the timekeeper’s table and stabs him in the eye with a microphone! Overhead elbows, Sammy rolls back inside and we go to break.
Back from commercial, Danielson is bleeding and Guevara is raining punches down on the wound on his forehead! Big knee in the corner, backbreaker rack and ends it with the GTH to even things up.
Winner of the 2nd Fall: Sammy Guevara
Guevara laying chops in, up top, Danielson shoves him away, Sammy trips coming back up and they jockey for position! Headbutt knocks Guevara down, Bryan perches but nobody home on the Diving Headbutt! Sammy gets an arm-trap crossface, wrenching back, rolling Dragon into the middle of the ring but he’s still fighting!
Danielson posts to his feet and lifts Guevara up but he bites the back of Bryan’s head to force him back to the mat! Crawling for the ropes and Danielson forces the break! Trading shots in the corner, Bryan with headbutts on headbutts, whip reversed, Sammy off the second and Danielson clocks him with a knee as we go to break!
Back from commercial, referee Bryce Remsburg ejects Tay Melo from ringside! Trading forearms from their knees to their feet, Danielson suplexes Guevara into the tree of woe! Kicking the ribs, basement dropkick, setting him up, Sammy slips out and knocks Bryan to the floor with a running knee!
Guevara up top to hit a Shooting Star Press to the floor! Back inside, Guevara goes for the Ace Crusher but Danielson catches him and bends him into the LeBell Lock! Sammy gets the ropes; Dragon breaks and follows it with chest kicks! Jumping knee, backbreaker rack, Danielson reverses the GTH into the Poison Frankensteiner!
Sammy gets a Boston Crab, shifting to the Liontamer, back to the crab, Bryan crawling and he gets the ropes for the break! GTH attempt, Danielson lands on his feet, off the ropes and hit Busaiku Knee! Dragon fired up, wrists clutched, Guevara reverses into Moonsault DDT!
Up top and hit Senton Atomico but the Sammy gets his knees up! Crucifix elbows from the American Dragon, rolling over, LeBell Lock in the middle of the ring! Wrenching back as hard as he can, Sammy wavers, trying to crawl, Danielson bends his free arm back, arm-trap LeBell Lock and Sammy taps out.
