It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means!

Jim Ross, Excalibur and “The Human Suplex Machine” Taz aew the broadcast team for tonight’s event.

We are starting with the Interim World Championship! Rush makes his entrance, accompanied by Jose the assistant. Out next, the AEW Interim World Champion, Jon Moxley makes his way out through the crowd and William Regal joins commentary.

MATCH #1: AEW Interim World Championship Match:

Rush attacks Moxley before the bell, taking out Moxley as he gets into the ring. Rush throws Moxley into the barricade. Back in the ring, Rush with stomps in the corner, splash, low dropkick, then bites at Moxley. Rush throws Moxley into a chair, busting Moxley open. Rush licks Moxley’s blood from his hands then throws Moxley into the barricade.

Rush misses a chair shot as Moxley gets out of the way, Moxley hits a Tope Suicida. Moxley with chops, suplex on the outside. Moxley with headbutts then throws Rush into the steel steps. AEW Dynamite: Fyter Fest – Week Two results from July 20th 2022

It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means!

Tony Schiavone, Excalibur and “The Human Suplex Machine” Taz were the broadcast team for tonight’s event.

MATCH #1: One-On-One Match:
Brody King vs. Darby Allin
The two men waste no time in getting this one going, with Brody King catching Darby Allin as he tried to dive straight away, being caught and slammed into the barricade. King chokes his opponent onto the ring post, while inside the ring the bigger man leveled Allin with a clothesline and then a huge chop.

King connects with a couple of Atomic Drops to keep the pressure on as his chops drop Allin down to the floor once again. Brody attempts to put Darby onto the top turnbuckle, but he fights back and then dives onto him, only for Brody to just swat him out of the air. King then grabs Allin by his pants, ragdolling him around the ring and into the bottom rope.

King continues his attack, tossing Allin into the barricade which crashes through the steel, as he then repeats the spot. He continues dominating the former TNT Champion, consistently sending him out of the ring as he follows it up with … Read More

AEW Dynamite: Fyter Fest – Week One results from July 13th 2022

It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means!

Tony Schiavone, Excalibur and “The Human Suplex Machine” Taz are the broadcast team for tonight’s event.

MATCH #1: TNT Championship Match:
Warlow © vs.  Orange Cassidy
Wardlow wastes no time in trying to turn this serious by ripping off the pockets of Orange Cassidy as he then pulls his straps down, but Cassidy responds by putting them back onto the champion as he then mocks his pose. Wardlow almost gets the Powerbomb straight away, but the challenger responds with a hurricanrana, only for Wardlow to land it and walk it off.

Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta then mess around, trying to put a chainsaw into the ring, but those antics lead to them being kicked out of ringside. Cassidy attempts an Orange Punch, but it gets caught and then the challenger hits his classic slow kicks, and when Wardlow charges at him, Cassidy ducks it and sends him out of the ring.

Wardlow then catches the dive only for Cassidy to try and send him into the ring post, but the champion blocks it. He then reaches under the ring and pulls out Danhausen, but he doesn’t want to curse him. … Read More

AEW Dynamite results from July 6th 2022

It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means!

Tony Schiavone, Excalibur and “The Human Suplex Machine” Taz were the broadcast team for tonight’s event.

MATCH #1: Street Fight for the TNT Championship:
Scorpio Sky © vs. Wardlow
We are kicking off tonight’s AEW Dynamite in a big way, and of course, the champion is not alone as Scorpio Sky members of American Top Team at ringside with him. Sky starts out using kicks and body shots, with his pace proving to be a difference-maker until the challenger drops him with a shoulder tackle.

Sky then responds with a low blow, but that just leads to Wardlow becoming angry, connecting with a belly-to-belly suplex as he then launches the champion across the ring.  Dan Lambert then tries to get involved, putting his hands on Wardlow, but as he goes to square up to him, the rest of American Top Team gets in the way.

The distraction works as Sky launches him into the steel stairs as his faction members then jump Wardlow. Back in the ring, Wardlow misses with an attack in the corner which allows the champion to fire in with several shots, driving him down. The champion takes … Read More

It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means!

MATCH #1: One-On-One Match:
Orange Cassidy vs. “All Ego” Ethan Page
Dan Lambert starts things off by trash-talking Orange Cassidy as Ethan Page makes his way to the ring, and he asks the referee to check that Chuck Taylor and Trent have a manager’s license to be ringside. They do not, so the two of them are thrown out. Cassidy puts his hands in his pockets but gets slammed down and walked on straight away.

Cassidy then picks up the pace, hitting a dropkick to Page as he then reverses a hip toss and dives to the outside to keep up the attack. Back inside the ring Cassidy connects with a crossbody, but once again his attempt at a body slam doesn’t work. Page then shows his strength advantage with a big shoulder tackler, which sends Cassidy flying.

QT Marshall and Aaron Solo vs. Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI
YOSHI-HASHI starts off against Aaron Solow. Solow tries a number of underhanded tactics, but YOSHI-HASHI stays strong. Solow comes back with a huge dropkick, but his dominance is short-lived as YOSHI-HASHI comes back. Goto tags in. Marshall tags in.

Goto dominates Marshall with strikes. Marshall tries to outsmart Goto but isn’t that smart and ends up on his ass. Solow tags in and The Factory double team Goto. Goto fights back almost immediately. The Factory sends CHAOS to the outside. Marshall hits a Cartwheel Plancha to the outside. Solow gets a near-fall on Goto. They corner Goto. Marshall tags in and gets a near-fall off more tandem offense. Solow tags in.

It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means!

Bryan Danielson opens Dynamite up coming to the ring for an interview with Tony Schiavone. Danielson says this is a great week to be an AEW fan and to be a wrestling fan. He talks about Forbidden Door and says that AEW and NJPW are the two best professional wrestling companies in the world. He talks about Blood and Guts and calls it “nearly the complete opposite” of the pure wrestling we will see on Sunday. Danielson says he was expecting to be a part of both of those events and talks about Zack Sabre Jr. challenging him to a match for Forbidden Door.

Danielson says he was excited about proving who the greatest technical wrestler was and he was excited about getting the chance to get some revenge on JAS but he has some good news and bad news. The match starts off with Jericho going for a Lionsault, Ortiz gets his knees up before landed a clothesline on Jericho for a near-fall, Jericho rolls to the outside but Ortiz follows him, Ortiz then throws Jericho into the barricade, Ortiz then punches Jericho as he’s seated in the barber’s chair, Jericho then lands a series of punches on Ortiz in the corner, Jericho goes for a top rope hurricanrana but Ortiz counters with a powerbomb from the top rope, Ortiz then hits a diving headbutt from the top rope for a near-fall, Ortiz then goes for a suicide dive but Jericho catches him with a forearm, Jericho then lands a suplex on Ortiz from the apron as we go to commercial break.
